With several different registered LEED projects completed, Bockstael Construction Limited has been at the forefront of promoting and implementing sustainable green construction practices in Manitoba. In keeping with the mandate and goals set out by the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) LEED scorecard for both New Construction and Commercial Interiors, we have trained 5 employees to their LEED Accredited Professional status. We continue to educate our own staff as well as fellow contractors and suppliers in the areas of onsite Soil Erosion Control, Waste Management, Air Quality, and Material resource information as required by and from the General Contractor on a LEED project. Working closely with the design team, Bockstael continues to source the best construction methods and materials for the Owner, the construction workers and final occupants.
