University of Manitoba - Faculty of Pharmacy

Location: 750 McDermot Avenue

New 100,000 square feet, five-storey building complete with lecture theatres, and laboratory space for teaching and research. The lecture theatres and classrooms were equipped with advanced communication technologies. The building  was constructed with cast - in – place concrete structure on a full basement. The exposed concrete met strict architectural demands for formwork and retro - plated floor finishes. Project also included a mechanical penthouse constructed of structural steel which caps off the building as a partial 5th floor.
