Safety

Bockstael Construction prides itself on being the first general contractor in Manitoba to be safety certified by the Manitoba Construction Safety Association in 1997. Through an annual audit process, we have obtained recertification every year since and have received top grades. This program is endorsed by the Workplace Health & Safety Department and the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba.

Safety is in everyone's hands, so our program receives constant attention from all levels. Bockstael Construction has a safety committee comprised of owners, management and an equal representation of field personnel. Each of our jobsites routinely holds tailgate meetings, conducts weekly site safety inspections, and all required hazard assessments. All visitors and workers are to report directly to the jobsite office for a site orientation prior to proceeding to the jobsite.
